James Bopp, Jr. to Give Keynote Address at Sycamore Trust Annual Breakfast at Notre Dame Alumni Reunion 2025

The Bopp Law Firm, PC, is pleased to announce that its Principal Attorney, James Bopp, Jr., has been invited to give the Keynote Address at the Sycamore Trust Annual Breakfast at Notre Dame Alumni Reunion 2025 on Saturday, May 31, 2025. 

The Sycamore Trust is an independent organization of alumni and friends of Notre Dame University who are fighting to preserve the university's Catholic identity. Through reporting on signs of secularization of the university, facilitating collective action to defend the school's religious mission, and promoting opportunities to support initiatives that embody Catholic teaching on campus, the Sycamore Trust seeks to hold Notre Dame accountable to its own requirement of maintaining a continuing presence of a predominant number of Catholic intellectuals on the faculty, which ultimately determines its Catholic identity.

The annual Sycamore Trust Annual Breakfast is aimed at strengthening the steadily growing community of alumni and friends devoted to renewing Notre Dame's Catholic identity. In announcing Mr. Bopp as its Keynote Speaker, the Sycamore Trust explained that:  James Bopp, Jr., principal attorney at The Bopp Law Firm, is a nationally renowned constitutional litigator whose landmark cases have reshaped the landscape of First Amendment and campaign finance law in the United States. Among many high-profile roles, he serves as General Counsel for the National Right to Life Committee and led the legal team for
Citizens United.
